Our Slack Elementary third grade dual language classes are learning about running a small business! In order to get them to understand the cost involved in making and selling a product, we have chosen to make and sell Valentines. Slack students may buy Valentines for friends in 2-5 grades at Slack. Parents may also buy for their child! (Parents, you are welcome to come by and write a special message yourself!)
- Each Valentine will have a friendship message and will include a piece of candy.
- We will be selling Valentines from now until Wednesday, February 13, 2018.
- The cost for each Valentine is 25 cents.
- Valentines will be delivered to the students at school during their Valentine party.
- We will be selling during Giddy Up & lunch (February 7-13)
If you would like to purchase valentines, you should be receiving a form to fill out in your child’s backpack or folder. Please fill out the form and return it with the money to Mrs. Montes in Room 37.
Profits from the Valentine Business will help fund the third grade Dual Language end of year trip! Thank you for your help with their project!
