Lufkin High School graduate Dez Bryant visited Kit McConnico Park, where he treated hundreds of members of the community to a free barbecue meal.
Bryant, a star wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys professional football team, arrived to a crowd of fans who surrounded him and took selfies with him. He later spoke to the crowd, thanking them for coming and telling them he was “a John Outlaw product.” He gave the LP sign and told the crowd to always put God first.
