Second Grade is off to a great start this year.

Homework

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD READ FOR AT LEAST 20-30 MINS EACH NIGHT.  This will help with fluency and comprehension.  

Math homework will be sent as needed when learning new material or previously learned concepts.

Rapid Words-Every Monday we have a new Rapid Word list.  I will give a test on the words every Friday.

Journey Basal Reading Book-We will have a test every Friday over story that is introduced for the week.

Library Books- Need to be read every night and students should be ready to take AR TESTS on the computer a few days after going to the library.  Students will be rewarded at the end of each 9 weeks period with an AR party if they meet their AR goal.
