Mrs. Kathy Peterson, who taught in Lufkin for 20 years, will be honored with the upcoming blood drive. Soon after retiring from a life dedicated to education, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called myelofibrosis. We will celebrate Mrs. Peterson by holding the next blood drive in her honor. Thank you for giving to support this beautiful spirit.
Mrs. Peterson would also like to spread awareness about https://bethematch.org/, which is an organization that helps find stem cell donors for those in need.
