Lufkin High School is proud to recognize three of our choir students for successfully auditioning for the Region Honor Choir on Saturday, November 4th. Laterian Edens, Janaih Johnson and Jeffrey Rutherford joined the members of the All Region Choir in a concert performance at Carthage High School on Saturday, November 11th.
In addition, the following students are advancing to the Area Auditions which will take place on January 13th:
Philip Callaway, Katelyn Clifton, Sarah Cook, Koryn Currier, Lyndsey Griffith, Rebecca Hill, Aleckxander Smith and Abby Soule.
Four students also placed first in their respective sections at the Hallsville competition on November 16th:
Philip Callaway, Katelyn Clifton, Lyndsey Griffith and Abby Soule. Paige Hoelewyn and Cassandra Macias were alternates.
