Dear Parent of a Junior — or friend of one!
We need YOUR help this year to make Project Celebration enjoyable, smooth-running and memorable for the Senior graduates at LHS. (For any of you who may not know, the parents of JUNIORS plan and execute this post-graduation party—an alternative celebration to potentially riskier gatherings and the last chance for ALL of the LHS Senior class to be together! In this way, when our “babies” graduate the following year, we can enjoy the festivities.)
Below are the Project Celebration committees and any existing chairpeople. Which committee can YOU be a part of? There are usually three chairs for each committee, so you can divide and conquer each committee’s tasks. I have a list of all the details each committees needs to address and all the information needed to make the committee’s job easy and streamlined. No need to fear…’Just what do I do? Sure, I’ll help, but what do I actually need to do?’ We have all the information you need. Very brief monthly meetings will serve as a check to make sure everything’s “on-track” and on-schedule, while committee duties can be handled independently by committee chairs and members.
If you can and will help—and remember, the more people that do help, the better for all of us and for this special celebration, please text or email one of us as soon as possible to 936-240-3795 or 936-404-6691. If you can’t help, but you want to “nominate” a parent of a Junior who can or whom you feel would be a strong asset to this year’s committees, please let us know, too.
