The Lufkin Education Prize Patrol surprised Mrs. Meadows and Mrs. Reynolds today as they were both awarded grants. Mrs. Reynolds received a new teacher grant, and Mrs. Meadows received a $5000 grant for Sphero Specdrums, which will allow music students to compose their own music! Congratulations to both Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs. Meadows! We want to shout out a huge thanks, to the Lufkin Education Foundation, for the encouraging support you give our teachers for their innovative ideas each year.
All students can eat in the cafeteria for free, but for students who bring a lunch from home, free options are available. Just pick 3! A milk, veggie, and fruit count as a free lunch and is the perfect add-on for a sack lunch. Students may still purchase additional a la carte items. School lunch is great and even better when it’s free!
Progress reports will come home Thursday. Please sign and return them on Friday. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher.
