Get ready for hands-on learning and scientific fun! The 2025 STEM Summer Camp is open to all incoming 9th graders and will be held at Lufkin High School.

Camp Activities Include:
💨 STEM & Engineering Design – Build and test wind turbines
🧪 Chemistry in Action – Foam gnomes, hand warmers, and ice cream
💡 Electric Circuits – Light-up sculptures with conductive dough
🫀 Biomedical Engineering – Artery repairs and bone fixes

Our 7th grade STEM students had an incredible experience on their field trip to Texas A&M Galveston!
From a hands-on shark dissection to exploring oyster reef ecology and getting a glimpse of campus life, this college exposure trip offered unforgettable learning opportunities. After a fun day of learning, they enjoyed some time in the Galveston Historic District on The Strand and wrapped up the trip with dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf.
Huge thanks to Texas A&M Galveston for hosting us and inspiring our students to dive deeper into science and higher education!
