LHS Drug Free All-Star raises funds to help purchase Angelina County’s first Prescription Drug Drop Box
LHS Drug Free All-Star, Saad Nazeer, created a Go Fund Me account to help successfully raise money for a Prescription Drug Drop Box.
LHS Cheer hosting Balloons for Breast Cancer
Purchase a pink balloon to dedicate in honor of a survivor, in honor of someone battling breast cancer, or in loving memory. Balloons will be displayed on the track during the Pink Out football game on Friday, Oct. 6.

Let’s Pack This Place Pink
Let’s pack this place pink on Friday, October 6th at both the volleyball and football games! Order your shirt by noon on Monday, October 2nd to show your support for the fight against cancer.

Tutoring Available for the SAT
After school tutoring will begin on September 26th for the reading and writing portions of the SAT.

5th Quarter at Boys & Girls Club Friday Night
For students who will not be attending the game, come out to the Boys & Girls Club from 7 to 10 p.m. to listen to the game; enjoy food catered by Chili’s; play games like basketball and volleyball; and enter for awesome door prizes.

Meet the Panthers Pep Rally cancelled
Lufkin High School’s annual Meet the Panthers Pep Rally, which was scheduled for Tuesday night, has been cancelled due to the rains we are expected to continue to get from Tropical Storm Harvey.

Meet the Panthers is a huge community-wide pep rally complete with the Lufkin Panther band, cheerleaders and majorettes. Students participating in each sport will be introduced, culminating with the introduction of the Lufkin Panther Football team.
