Long snapper with prosthetic leg helps Lufkin freshmen kick go-ahead field goal
Isaac Huerta, a 15-year-old Lufkin High School student who has a prosthetic leg, wanted to play football simply because his buddies did. On Thursday night, he helped his football buddies score a go-ahead field goal in the last game of their freshman season.

We are thankful for our LHS students and parents, and want to wish you all a great Thanksgiving! We will have early release on Friday, November 17th, and the district will be closed the following week (November 20th-24th). Have a safe holiday break!
