Tuesday evening, the Lufkin High School Swim Team competed in a meet in Tyler, braving the bitter cold to earn an impressive fifth-place overall finish. Junior Daniel Lannigan led the boys with 52 points, while freshman Marissa Flowers scored 47 points to lead the girls. The Panthers will return to the pool November 21–22 for a two-day meet in Texarkana, where they’ll face fast competition and continue building momentum. We are proud of our athletes and their outstanding perseverance.
