Business Professionals of America held their National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida last week. Lufkin High School sent two students to attend the conference to compete at the national level. Patrick Milholland competed in Advanced Accounting and placed 19th in the nation in his event. Melissa Hernandez competed in Promotional Photography and was invited to participate in the Top 10 National Showcase with other photographers from around the country. Melissa placed 7th in the nation for photograph that she submitted, showing “sports determination”. Congratulations to both Patrick and Melissa for representing Lufkin High School at the National Level. Nolan Hansard and Addison Chhay also participated in multiple computer open events and were instrumental as volunteers throughout the conference. We are very proud of you all!
