Girls Track:
The Lufkin High School Girls track competed in 5A-District 10 Championships today. We got a few girls that advanced to the Area Track Meet. The top 4 competitors advance to the Area track meet!
We got 1st (Isabella Meggiato) and 2nd (Makenzi Delaney) in High Jump.
4th place in Discus (Ananda Taylor).
4th place in Shot Put (A’Naiya Teal)
2nd (Mary Todd) and 4th (Ariauna Soria) in the 800m run
4th place (Malayah Holmes) in the 400m dash
3rd place in the 4x200m relay (H. Dodd, I. Meggiato, M. Todd, A. Simpson)
1st place in 4x400m Relay (M. Holmes, I. Meggiato, A. Simpson, M. Todd)
Boys Track:
Let’s Congratulate the Boys Track Team for winning the district championship last night in Whitehouse! Numerous Panthers will be moving on to the Area Meet next Friday in Anna. Great job Panthers!
