GREAT START! Lufkin’s boys basketball squad opened the playoffs with a 54-41 victory over Hallsville tonight at Timpson High School. Freshman Austin Brown scored 20 points in his return from an injury.
The Pack (34-3 overall this season) advances to the second round of the Class 5A playoffs, with opponent, site, date and time to be determined.
