Important Policy Notes:

  • Reset every nine weeks.
  • Parent/guardian will be contacted with each tardy via Remind.
  • Tardies will be addressed daily, with a consequence for each tardy after five warnings.
  • Any assigned tardy detention must be served within three days. Failure to complete the assigned detention after three days results in a Friday night detention or Saturday School. If neither detention is served, the student will be placed in ISS and receive a skyward referral.
    • 1st – 4th Tardy = Warning
    • 5th Tardy = Warning (Parent contacted via phone call to discuss tardy policy/consequences)
    • 6th – 10th Tardy = 1 day of AM or PM Detention per tardy
    • 10th Tardy = Discipline Step Referral (Parent contacted via phone call)
    • 11th – 15th Tardy = 1 day of AM or PM Detention
    • 15th Tardy = Discipline Step Referral (Parent contacted via phone call)
    • 16th – 20th Tardy = 1 day of AM or PM Detention
    • 20th Tardy = Discipline Step Referral (Parent contacted via phone call)
    • 21st – 25th Tardy = 1 day of AM or PM Detention
    • 25th Tardy = Discipline Step Referral (Parent contacted via phone call)
  • Continued tardies beyond 25 will continue with 1 day of AM or PM Detention per tardy, with a Discipline Step every 5 tardies. The parent will be contacted via phone call, with each discipline step.
