Hello! My name is Amy Beaudion. Everyone calls me Ms. B. I am a First Grade teacher at Herty Primary. I have been teaching for 10 years. I taught Kindergarten for 5 years and First Grade for 5 years now. I absolutely LOVE what I do! Teaching is my passion and my students are my HEART.

Besides being a teacher, I am a mother of a 23 year old son. He is one of my favorite people. He has been married for the past 2 years and has his first child on the way! So, yes….I’m about to be a GRANDMOTHER! (December 2017). I am so excited about my grandbaby on the way and look forward to spoiling them every chance I get.

Outside of school, some of my hobbies include: being with friends and family, reading, singing, going to church, listening to Christian music and Country music, watching some of my favorite shows, walking/hiking, camping, going to the beach, road trips, etc.

Teaching has always been something I wanted to do ever since I was a small child. I hope that every child in my classroom leaves with the love for school, reading, for each other, and for themselves. I strive to help every one of my students be successful. I know this year is going to be a great one!
