This activity is for all our Brandon GT students. It’s a great way to review properties of matter, mixtures/solutions, change of state, and sedimentary rock formation.  Follow the directions shown below being EXTRA careful with the hot water. The water can be hot from the faucet. It does not need to be boiling. Use what you have available and if you don’t have food coloring, don’t worry because it is not necessary.
