STEMM Projects have begun for all GT students!

Third graders are working on the “Gingerbread Man Challenge”. Their goal is to build a boat that can get the Gingerbread Man across a river using only a few designated items. Fourth graders are completing a mini project titled “Help Fritz Float”. This allows the students to design a flotation device for Mrs. Roe’s handicapped dog. The device would allow him to get exercise while floating in a bathtub. They will present their projects “Shark Tank” style. Fifth graders are completing the “Surgery is Suite” project. This project allows the students to experience the jobs of pathologists and surgeons.  They will create slides of suspicious tissues and will learn how to suture a biopsy site.
