This may be the last post I make for this semester because this is all of the notes for the class. Tomorrow, we just have a worksheet where you graph equations. Then, next week is Finals Week. It’s been a real 2018, y’all!
In today’s lesson, we reviewed solving a system of equations. There are three ways to solve: Graphing, Elimination, and Substitution. All four of these review lessons are things that will NOT go away in the future. If you don’t understand linear equations, linear functions, quadratics, and solving a system of equations, you just may be in a pickle. That means you have only 3 days to learn before the final! Get. To. It.

I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Now that today is over, you only have 5 days left in this class, and two of those days are for finals. This means that there is not any time to spare, this is it. Sink or swim.
Today we looked again at quadratic equations and solving them three different ways. These three ways include graphing, factoring, and the quadratic formula. Those are the three biggest methods that you NEED to know. They won’t go away, so the sooner you learn them, the better you will be. Tomorrow is yet another review day…stay tuned!

That’s all we have remaining of the Fall 2018 semester. This could make or break a few of you, so it’s time to kick it into high gear and get your act together! Don’t delay!
For the review today, we looked at linear functions. This involved things like graphing them, writing the equations of lines, finding the slope, finding x- and y-intercepts, and so much more. See the notes for all the details and have a FANTASTIC weekend!

It’s official – we have started our review for the final exam. Yep, you read that right – FINAL EXAM. So from now until the end, there won’t be anything new…unless you didn’t learn it to begin with 🙂
For the first review, we looked at solving linear equations. This ranged from solving actual equations for an unknown to writing algebraic expressions when given words (verbal expressions). It was a quick lesson, but hopefully it helped to knock off any cobwebs that may have developed since August.

Does that not feel good to say?! Today we saw the last unit review of the semester. After we take the test that’s looming tomorrow, we will start reviewing for the final and then take the TSI Test. Even though it feels like the pace is picking up, we are really just slowing down because there won’t be any new material for the rest of the year. So, study up for this last unit test and make it count!
