WHAT
- 3 week Virtual Escape Room experience
- Learn all the secrets of high school success in a fun, engaging way
- Not your typical summer camp — you are going to love this!
WHEN
- July 6-24
- Register by June 15 – just click on the Escape to 9th grade flyer on the LMS home page
WHO
- You will be on an escape team of 8 students
- You will have a high school teacher and a high school student assigned to guide you
HOW
- Since we can’t be together, you will complete the task through Google Classroom … CLICK HERE for the link.
- Complete the technology information survey with the registration form
- If needed, we will get a technology device for you to use to complete camp
- Your guide will give you a schedule of activities and times for virtual meetings
WHY
- Since you didn’t get to finish 8th grade as usual, GEAR UP wants to make sure you are ready to start high school
- You will meet your high school teachers and high school students
- You will earn 5 points that can be added to test scores in each of your core classes the 1st 3 weeks of school for a total of 20 bonus points!
- Earn points for GEAR UP activities such as field trips, college visits and other prizes
- IT WILL BE FUN!
