Representatives from Georgia-Pacific presented a check in the amount of $5,000 to the Lufkin ISD Career Technical Education (CTE) program at Lufkin High School to help finance students going to state and national competitions. Georgia-Pacific has a vested interest in students graduating with quality skills who can enter the workforce. The Lufkin CTE Department serves hundreds of high school students, allowing them the opportunity to explore career pathways to earn certificates and licenses before they graduate from high school.
