Reagan Crow and Lynn Torres
Superintendent Lynn Torres announced the Lufkin High School Class of 2022 Valedictorian as Reagan Crow and Salutatorian as Savana Calhoun tonight at the Education Foundation’s Panthers of Prestige Ceremony at the Tom Jack Lucas Auditorium.
Reagan will be attending the University of Dallas majoring in Biology (pre-med). She is the National Honor Society President, Drug-Free All Star Officer, Commended National Merit Scholar, state finalist in the Texas Science and Engineering Fair, STEM Academy student and participated in numerous clubs and organizations.
Savana Calhoun and Lynn Torres
Savana is the President of the Interact Club, STEM Academy student, National Honor Society member, Ignite mentor, among other extracurricular activities. She will be attending Stephen F. Austin State University majoring in Mathematics.
Both students received an additional medal to be worn at Friday night’s Lufkin High School graduation at Abe Martin Stadium at 8 p.m.
