All LHS Juniors will be automatically registered for SAT School Day, to test on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. This is an opportunity, provided by Lufkin GEAR UP, where students are provided the time to take the SAT during their regular school day, at no cost to them.
Additionally, Lufkin Gear Up is funding the SAT Boot Camp, a test prep program which is open to LHS students of any grade level, free of charge. Interested students should use this link to sign up. It’s recommended that students, especially juniors, attend two of the sessions, 1 ELAR (English Language Arts Reading) and 1 math. However, the student may sign up for any number of sessions, that best fits their personal schedule. All SAT Boot Camp sessions will be held at LHS.
