Lufkin High School’s varsity golf team scored a season-best round of 305 to win the win the Interscholastic Tournament at the Old Brickyard Golf Club in Ferris on Oct. 22-23.
Lufkin High School’s varsity boys golf team won the Interscholastic Tournament at the Old Brickyard Golf Club in Ferris (south of Dallas) this past Thursday and Friday.
Sophomore Michael Rasmussen won individually with a final round of 73. The team scored a season-best round of 305.
The Panthers’ other individual scores on the tournament’s final day were senior Sammy Henson’s 76, junior Ian Bostwick’s 82, Wil Stafford’s 78 and junior Nick Beck’s 78.
