We have had a great few weeks with Mrs. Ceasar and Mr. Cory coming to talk with us about financial literacy. The kids learned a lot of good financial terminology and how to “grow their wealth”. My classes will now take what they’ve learned and put it to use creating their own food truck business in everfi.com.
We’ve had a good 3 weeks in Success 4 U learning all about our personalities and emotions. Students will have their emotions vocabulary test tomorrow and then we will begin our unit on bullying.
In the first 3 weeks of this grading period we have completed the Employability Skills unit and are beginning our Job Search unit. Students filled out their very first job application this week and learned a lot about what it’s like to apply for a job. Looking forward to teaching them about resume’s and interviews.
