During the book fair, the goal was to raise extra money for teacher classroom libraries. There were 3 donation boxes that students could donate extra change to. Mr. Boyd, the principal, Mrs. McClendon, the assistant principal, and Mrs. Martin, the librarian.
The “winner” challenge was to sit in the Clifford doghouse, WITH the Clifford head on!
The three adults accepted the challenge, but Mr. Boyd was clearly the winner!
Mr. Boyd’s box had $55.85
Mrs. McClendon had $13.20
Mrs. Martin had $11.07
Mr. Boyd did the best he could :-), and if the doghouse would have been a bit larger, he would have read a book. What book should you read, Mr. Boyd? WONDER by R.J. Palacio, of course! That was the number one choice of Brandon students in the March Madness book tournament!
