What an exciting day when Garrett Primary was awarded, not one, but TWO Educational Foundation Grants! The first for Growing Gardeners (team of Mrs. Conley, Mrs. Heaton, Mrs. McCoy and Mrs. Mooney), in the amount of $2935.00. This grant will allow our campus to build sustainable garden beds with hands-on learning experiences for the students.
The second grant titled Technology Integration Smart Board and Student Computers (team of Mrs. Cochran, Mrs. Hernandez, Ms. Joseph, Ms. Thompson) in the amount of $994.00. This grant will bring enhanced and interactive, student-centered, computerized programs to classroom Smart Boards and student computers; thereby placing additional technology into our students’ hands.
