The Lufkin Independent School District will offer a takeout breakfast and lunch to its students on the weekdays the district is closed due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
During the coming week, Lufkin ISD students will be available to pick up breakfast between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. each weekday at Lufkin High School, Brandon Elementary or Slack Elementary, and lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at each of those campuses.
Meals will be served through pick-up only. Students age 18 and under must be present to receive the meals.
Classes are scheduled to resume Monday, March 23.
