Mrs. Winters was voted by her peers as Brandon Elementary’s
2017-2018 Teacher of the Year!
Jennifer Winters exemplifies, and goes beyond the standards of teaching. She displays excellent classroom management, which is not hard for her, since her students are constantly engaged in learning. Mrs. Winters consistently challenges her 5th Grade GT students with innovative uses of technology. Although Mrs. Winters is “the math teacher,” it is not uncommon to see Mrs. Winters reading aloud to her students, or using science to demonstrate “really cool stuff,” as her students will say. Mrs. Winters is a district level Digital Ambassador, and is frequently sharing great ideas with her co-teachers. Brandon Elementary is very fortunate to have Mrs. Winters on our campus. She is very deserving of the award of Teacher of the Year. Thank you, Mrs. Winters!
