Patterns in the Sky

In our Science class, we will be concluding that there are recognizable patterns among the Sun, Earth, and the Moon system. In the next coming weeks, we will proof that the tilt of the earth changes seasons of the year. When the  Earth axis points away from the sun, cold winter is on its way. When  it points toward the sun, we are in for summer fun. When the Earth axis points neither here nor there, it’s Spring season.

We will be exploring our Solar system. The following questions will help us understand our topic better:

  • How do the Sun, Earth, and Moon interact?
  • How do shadow change?
  • What are Moon Phases?
  • How does the Moon move around Earth?
  • What equipment will you find  in the control room at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas? What are they used for?
